Psychotherapy

Healing for the whole person

About You

We all face challenges and sometimes we just need a confidential space to unburden and find help.  Perhaps you've had therapy before or maybe it is completely new for you.

Therapy offers you a confidential space to tell your story and to be heard with respect and compassion whilst also giving you clarity, wisdom and the resources to make the changes you want.

You might be struggling with issues related to work, relationships, or grief, that you want to work through.  Or there could be patterns of behaviour you would like to change related to eating, sex or substances.  Therapy can help with the observable problems in your life but it can also help with the hidden struggles of low self-confidence, anxiety and depression. You might be really aware of what is causing your distress or you might need therapeutic help to explore the problem.  You can come however you are and we can explore your situation together so you find greater ease and enjoyment in your everyday life.

About Therapy

Firstly, we would meet for free by phone for 20 mins to see if we are a good fit for each other before committing to in-person weekly sessions.  In the initial sessions we decide together what the focus of the therapeutic work will be, which we can also agree to change over time.  I have a holistic approach and so we might use somatic (body) awareness and explore spiritual-faith-existential concerns as well as addressing your thoughts and emotions. Together we create the therapeutic process you want, to help you find the healing and wholeness you are looking for.

Therapy enables you to find clarity, find release from emotional stuckness, make changes and to find greater ease, resourcing and happiness in life.  It can be short, medium or longer term and can simply be a confidential space to offload or it can have a therapeutic focus.

I offer therapy in person in Beckington (near Bath and Frome) where I have a welcoming therapeutic space.  I also work online.  There would be an expectation that you the client would commit to weekly sessions but you can end the sessions when you feel it is right.

£60 per session.
